Spørgsmål

1. Downloading music – right or wrong? And why/why not? Elaborate answers, please! Spend at least 15 minutes examining the pros and cons.

2. The ‘net pirate’ in the text, “I’m a net pirate”, how does he try to justify his downloading music from Kazaa? Do you agree or disagree with the points he’s trying to make?

3. “The music industry is afraid of losing control; it is afraid of giving too much choice to consumers” (p.?). Explain and discuss!

Group work

“I’ll see you in court!”

Kenny Keegan is on trial. He has been downloading music and movies from Kazaa, and he now has more than 500 songs on his computer as well as 25 movies that he has not paid for.

Groups from one half of the class will now write the prosecutor’s summary in which he tries to convince the jury that Kenny Keegan should be severely punished.

Groups from the other half of the class will in turn write the summary with which the defence will rest its case.

Use arguments and information from the texts as well as your own opinions!
